Shipping & Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing to support our small business this holiday season! Due to large shipping volumes, all carriers are facing major transportation delays in delivering your packages. So to best prepare for your packages to hopefully reach you in time for Christmas, we recommend adhering to the below deadlines for your orders.
Please note, even for orders placed before the deadlines, we cannot still guarantee that your package will be delivered before 25th December, but we are fairly hopeful for them to be delivered to you in time. We have no control over your package once it is shipped out and will not be issuing any returns or refunds for packages delayed in shipping. We try our best to process and ship your order in 2-3 business days, but shipping itself can take anywhere between 5-9 business days depending on your location.
Last day to order for delivery before 25th Dec:
BC & Alberta (Expedited Shipping): Dec 14
BC & Alberta (Express Shipping): Dec 16
Rest of Canada (Expedited): Dec 12
Rest of Canada (Express): Dec 14
Last day for order dispatch/local pickup - Dec 21st
All orders placed after Dec 23rd will be processed on January 3rd. Our online store will be open for placing orders but our team will be on holiday. Response to emails and messages will be delayed till our return on Jan 3rd. For anything urgent, you can still reach out to us via email or Instagram and we will definitely help you.

Due to the nature of our products, we are not accepting returns or exchanges at this time. However, if you have received a wrong/damaged product, please contact us on email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Please note -
Item/Items, if returned, must be brand new and in original condition & packaging (with original boxes, cards, etc.)
Tales of Life Candle Co will not be responsible for any packages that are stolen, lost or returned to us. Buyer is also responsible for the Return to Sender fee incurred in case of items returned to us.
For items arrived damaged, please provide us the order number and photograph of the damaged item and packaging.
Incorrect or damaged item/items delivered must be reported within 3 days and returned to us within 15 days of the delivery date
No return drop-off
Expedited shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
Items on sale or clearance are non-refundable
For US orders, if the package is rejected by the buyer because of duties and taxes, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping and return postage to receive a refund. Please note a refund will not be provided if the buyer chooses to refuse and abandon the order.
We try to prepare and ship orders within 2-3 business days. For domestic shipping, it usually takes 5-9 business days depending on location. You will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number once your candles have been shipped. If you have selected local pick-up, you will receive a notification when your order is ready for pick-up.
For US shipping, please allow at least 10 -12 business days for delivery. Please note the actual delivery times may vary depending on your location and time taken for customs processing and clearance. We are not responsible for the duties and custom charges incurred on your package. The total amount of payment does not include any duties and custom charges to clear your customs. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand the fees and charges from your customs.
We offer the option of local pick-up from Burnaby, British Columbia. This option is available at the below mentioned days/times -
Tuesday - 10 am - 12 pm, 2 pm - 5 pm
Friday - 10 am - 12 pm, 2 pm - 5 pm
